A tranquil home gym studio.

HollandGreen designed a residential yoga/gym space as part of a renovation project in Oxfordshire. The light-filled space merges two constricted outhouses into a luxury exercise studio, with an open central space for yoga and free movement and separate family gym accessed via minimal timber sliding doors.

The studio space follows a soft, pared back design that honours the original heritage character of the building while introducing plenty of natural light. LEDs hidden in the restored coffered ceiling create a calm and tranquil environment, and the sustainably sourced hardwood flooring is finished in bamboo laminate. Together with the timber back wall panelling, the use of natural materials provides a warm, multi-sensory space in which to move and relax.
