Responsible Design
We are committed to making a positive contribution to carbon capture and storage within the residential property sector. Designing ethically and sustainably is at the heart of our approach, our aim is to create regenerative, energy efficient homes that can be maintained for generations to come.
Our People
Stephen Green and Ben Holland established HollandGreen in 2010. Today we are a team of over 40 talented professionals, delivering exceptional residential projects across the UK and internationally. Driven by our three core disciplines of architecture, interior design and landscape design – each Studio is led by experts in their respective fields. Coupled with our Project Management team, our collective expertise ensures outstanding results and seamless turnkey solutions.

We are renowned for our experience in designing and delivering sustainable projects across new builds, period renovations and barn conversions. We collaborate with Historic England on listed building restorations, work closely with local authorities to meet stringent conservation standards, and embed sustainability in every stage of the design process. We take a Fabric First approach, minimising the future energy consumption of a home, and we enthusiastically adopt Passivhaus principles where appropriate. Our aim is to ensure homes sit beautifully within their landscapes, and leave a lasting, sustainable legacy.

Biophilic Design & Healthy Homes
Biophilic Design emphasises the connection between people and nature. Research shows that biophilic design promotes cognitive function, physical health, and psychological well-being, and collaborating with our clients, we integrate biophilic elements to our designs. This create homes which foster stress reduction and enhance creativity through the use of natural light, natural materials and integrating nature-inspired shapes and textures, fabrics, colours and furniture.

Support of British Woodlands
We partner with the charity Woodland Heritage who support the creation and management of productive woodlands, delivering benefits including carbon sequestration and research into woodland health and biodiversity. We calculate the carbon used in our projects and the number of English Oak trees, which, over their lifetime, will offset this amount. We double this and donate the equivalent funds to support Woodland Heritage’s planting and educational activities.
