House of the Year Finalist – The Hide
We were excited to revisit The Hide just before it was shortlisted by British Homes Awards 2022, and see the project in full bloom.
The original tired bungalow was beautifully re-imagined as a strikingly contemporary upside-down house, with glowing Corten steel accents and exposed Chiltern brick. It’s a modern country industrial aesthetic that bursts with character – all the while remaining faithful to the historic character of its rural surrounds.
The project recently received the 2022 Berkhamsted Citizens’ Environment award, celebrating its original design and exceptional contribution the local community.
Landscape Design of the Year Finalist – Longridge House Garden
We’re also thrilled that Longridge House was placed in the Garden/Landscape Design Finalist Category.
The multi-functional Balinese-inspired garden weaves together a series of beautifully designed outdoor living spaces, including a luxury outdoor kitchen, spa and sunken hot tub, with a secret woodland garden concealing a cosy fire pit beneath a canopy of ancient tree ferns.
It was also a finalist in the Designer of the Year category in the 2022 APL Landscaping Awards.
