Under Construction – Contemporary Riverside Pavilion

Our riverside new build home in Oxfordshire.

We’re excited to share the progress on this new glazed pavilion style house currently under construction that will enjoy amazing vistas across the river Thames. Due to the proximity to the water and high flood risk the entire structure is built on stilts, giving it the effect of floating over the meadow while also mitigating the flood risk.

With the steel frame now complete it is easy to see how the new contemporary home will sit next to the river and the enviable vistas our client will enjoy.

As the next steps of the construction process commence, we can see the walls going up and the roof will shortly be in place. Discover more about the client’s brief and the challenges we’ve overcome, here.
